Please note the selection specifications below for the CHINA live export breeding livestock shipment:

Specifications
• Breed: BLACK ANGUS (Category 2)
• Age: 8 – 15 months on selection
• Weight: Strictly individual minimum of 240kg on delivery up to 380 kgs, average 280 kg
• Price: $975 + GST per head delivered quarantine
• Condition: Score 3 or better
• Delivery Date: Proposed delivery – Mid February 2019
• Delivery Location: Romsey or Portland – TBC
• Pregnancy: Confirmed Unmated – (Strictly NOT PREGNANT)
• Weaning: Weaned a minimum of 14 days prior to selection

Pedigree
• Heifers are to be sired by registered Black Angus bulls with 3 generations of known pedigree
• The SIRES ID, FULL NAME & REGISTRATION, must be provided on day of selection
• Vendors must be a commercial member of the Angus Society, sires must be owned by the vendor
• Heifer information form must be provided and include month & year of birth

Residency
• Cattle must have resided on the property of origin PIC for 6 months prior to commencement of on farm testing
• NLIS data will be captured as part of the on-farm selection process and verified prior to quarantine entry
• Cattle failing the residency requirements are not eligible

On Farm Selection & Pricing
• Heifers to be weighed and drafted prior to arrival of Integrity Australia for selection
• No white markings forward of the udder or up under the flank
• Selected heifers will be priced, tagged, scanned & documentation completed at this time
• ON FARM BLOOD TESTING is a requirement, this will be completed within 30 days of quarantine entry at cost to NACC. Blood results must be negative to relevant diseases. Positive blood results are not accepted.
• NO HGP’s
• All cattle must be NLIS tagged prior to commencement of on farm selection.
Cattle health
• Cattle are purchased on the basis that the property of origin has DPI clearance relevant to the required protocol
• Cattle must not come from or have ever resided within the blue tongue zone
• Blood testing incorporates the following tests: Blue Tongue, Paratuberculosis, Akabane, IBR, BVD & EBL.
• At the time of delivery to quarantine the cattle are healthy and fit for export
• Cattle with ringworm, pink eye, eye scarring, lice or other sign of ill health must not be presented for selection or delivered to quarantine

Pregnancy testing
• The unjoined heifers will be pregnancy tested and breeding soundness checked in quarantine, by an ACV accredited vet employed by NACC. Heifers failing this check will be rejected.
Documentation – All the below Documentation is required before payment can take place
• Vendors must sign an Export Vendor Declaration when completing the sale contract
• Multi-Sire & Heifer Information
• NVD (Upon Quarantine Arrival)

Rejects
• Any cattle rejected on delivery to Quarantine out of specification underweight, lameness, pink eye, eye scaring, lice, generalized ringworm or any other health reason will be rejected, and vendors will be paid commercial market value per head, these rejects will be notified to agents within 48 hours of delivery
• Pregnant cattle, Freemartins & cattle unsound for breeding will be rejected. These cattle will be discounted to commercial market value per head. This check is completed within the first 12 days in quarantine and agents will be immediately notified of any rejects
Settlement
• Payment is 14-days from delivery into Quarantine
