Specifications<\/strong>
\u2022 Breed \/ Type: Holstein Friesian Heifers \u2013 Pregnancy Tested in Calf (any breed)
\u2022 Pedigree: Certificate E & F (2nd & 3rd Generation Breeding)
\u2022 Age: 14 \u2013 22 months of age as of late March 2019 (May 17 \u2013 Jan 18 born)
\u2022 Weight: Strictly individual minimum of 350 kg on delivery
\u2022 Price: $1450 + GST per head delivered quarantine
\u2022 Condition: Forward Condition +
\u2022 Delivery Date: Proposed delivery Mid-March 2019.
\u2022 Delivery Location: Romsey VIC \u2013 TBC
\u2022 Pregnancy: Confirmed PTIC to any breed, 8 to 18 weeks in calf at entry to quarantine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pedigree<\/strong>
\u2022 Heifers are to be sired by registered Holstein Bulls with 2nd & 3rd generations of breeding information \u2013 Certificate E & F (both sides)
\u2022 The SIRES ID, FULL NAME & REGISTRATION, NASIS CODE or HERD BOOK NO. must be provided \u2014- NO FARM ID\u2019S
\u2022 Heifer information form must be provided and include, month & year of birth and details on the progeny Dam ID
\u2022 Where possible registration certificates to be provided
# Livestock payment will be withheld pending receipt of the Export Heifer Breed Information<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residency<\/strong>
\u2022 Heifers must have resided on the property of origin PIC for 6 months prior to commencement of on farm testing
\u2022 NLIS data will be captured as part of the on-farm selection process and verified prior to quarantine entry
\u2022 Heifers failing the residency requirements are not eligible<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Farm Selection & Pricing<\/strong>
\u2022 Heifers to be weighed and drafted prior to arrival of Integrity Australia for selection
\u2022 Selected heifers will be priced, tagged, scanned & documentation completed at this time
\u2022 ON FARM BLOOD TESTING is a requirement, this will be completed within 30 days of quarantine entry at cost to NACC. Blood results must be negative to relevant diseases. Positive blood results are not accepted<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 All cattle must be NLIS tagged prior to commencement of on farm selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cattle health<\/strong>
\u2022 Cattle are purchased on the basis that the property of origin has DPI clearance relevant to the required protocol
\u2022 Cattle must NOT come from or have ever resided within the blue tongue zone
\u2022 Blood testing incorporates the following tests: Blue Tongue, Paratuberculosis, Akabane, IBR, BVD & EBL.
\u2022 At the time of delivery to quarantine the cattle are healthy and fit for export
\u2022 Heifers with ringworm, pink eye, eye scarring, lice or other sign of ill health must not be presented for selection or delivered to quarantine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conformation \/ Presentation<\/strong>
ALL CATTLE will be subject to HFAA Breed Standard inspection at the time of entry into quarantine and must comply with HFAA Breed Standard for Holsteins \u2013 refer attachment and\/or
website at: http:\/\/www.holstein.com.au\/index.php\/export\/breed-standard<\/a>
\u2022 No predominantly white or predominantly black cattle will be selected.
\u2022 Must have four white socks \u2013 no black feet. No docked tails.
\u2022 Polled or cleanly dehorned cattle only \u2013 no fresh wounds.
\u2022 No spare teats. Any spare teats must be removed before selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pregnancy Testing<\/strong>
\u2022 The pregnant heifers will be have pregnancy verified between 8 to 18 weeks within 12 days of quarantine entry, this will be facilitated by an ACV accredited vet employed by NACC. Heifers failing this pregnancy check will be rejected. This is a condition of sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Documentation<\/strong> \u2013 All the below Documentation is required before payment can take place
\u2022 Vendors must sign an Export Vendor Declaration when completing the sale contract
\u2022 Verified Pedigree \/ Registration Documentation \u2013 Heifer Information Form
\u2022 NVD (Upon Quarantine Arrival)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rejects<\/strong>
\u2022 Any cattle rejected on delivery to Quarantine out of specification underweight, lameness, pink eye, eye scaring, lice, generalized ringworm or any other health reason will be rejected, these rejects will be notified to agents within 24hours of delivery
\u2022 Unjoined cattle, Freemartins & cattle unsound for breeding will be rejected. This check is completed within the first 12 days in quarantine and agents will be immediately notified of any rejects
\u2022 REJECTS: remain the property of the vendor and will returned at the vendors expense or sold at commercial market value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Settlement<\/strong>
\u2022 Payment is 14-days from delivery into Quarantine<\/p>\n\n\n\n
